The Jerilderie Letter

Our first stop today was Jerilderie where we walked in Ned Kelly's footsteps.

Tocumwal is about 60k from Jerilderie and is a pretty town on the banks of the Murray. It looks like a nice place for a stop over with many cafes.

We wanted to find somewhere still in the country to stay on our final night on the mainland yet still be within 2 hours of Port Melbourne. We couldn't get a site in Shepparton, so we settled on Seymour instead - a beautiful bush setting on the banks of the Goulburn River.

I've just spent time planning our approach tomorrow to the Spirit of Tasmania terminal at Station Pier in Port Melbourne to avoid the impassably low bridges in Montague Street

Here's hoping Bass Strait is a mill pond tomorrow night.
