Salamanca Markets

We planned to be in Hobart on a Saturday so we could visit the Salamanca markets. The markets go to around 2:30pm, so we had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before catching the bus into town. 

The Hobart Christmas pageant was on and we caught the tail of the parade on our way to Salamanca:

We had lunch at Mures near Constitution Dock - great views of restored old warehouses:


Cray pots on a boat in the wharf area - teasing us. We haven't yet seen Crayfish for sale:


The ferry for MONA leaves from Franklin Wharf near Salamanca. We contemplated, briefly, whether to catch the ferry, but neither of us were in the mood and there was not enough time left to do it justice anyway. Next time...
